USA CAMPING HOLIDAYS

Visiting a foreign country to camp can be exciting but you can also have a fantastic time exploring and experiencing new adventures within the United States. USA camping holidays are very popular, for people in the country, as well as those living outside the country. One of the things that makes camping trips so intriguing is that each state is so diverse. If you want to camp in the mountains, you could head to Colorado or Utah. If the desert areas are more to your liking, Arizona or California are perfect. However, if you love camping by the water, Maine or Florida would be wonderful considerations.

With USA camping holidays, you can choose literally any type of topography you want, making this the perfect destination for people who love the outdoors. Just as with campsites anywhere in the world, those located in the United States range from simple and even rustic, to campsites considered luxurious. Again, all you need to do is choose what suits your needs best. In fact, many areas offer both. A prime example would be Bennett Springs, Missouri. There, you get the best of both worlds, being able to pitch a tent and canoe down the Niangua River or stay in a heated cabin and shop.

It is estimated that more than 12,000 campsites exist in America. Just imagine the possibilities you and your family could enjoy. While it would be near impossible to cover each, we wanted to provide you with a few examples of USA Camping holidays you might consider.

Shasta Trinity National Forest

Located in Northern California is an area with 2.1 million acres covered with oak, dogwood, conifer, and madrone trees. From this vantage point, you will see the granite peaks of the Cascade Mountains adorned with glaciers, rivers that run literally hundreds of miles through the canyons, and more than 400 different types of wildlife to include black bear, mountain lions, beaver, falcon, eagles, and more. In this region, you can enjoy over 1,400 miles of hiking trails, great for exploration.

Yosemite National Park

Of all national parks in California, this is by far the most impressive and best known. This camping region offers green meadows, cascading waterfalls, huge granite domes, and some of the densest pine forests in existence. Open all year long, camping holidays here are exceptional. The views are stunning, the wildlife diverse, and the overall experience something you will never forget.

Rocky Mountain National Park

In Colorado, camping holidays in the Rocky Mountain National Park are one of the favourites. There, you will see juniper and ponderosa pine on the lower slopes and Douglas fir higher up in the mountains. Other natural amenities include hundreds of lakes and streams, Longs Peak, a massive peak that stretches up 14,000 feet, fields of sunflower, fantastic fishing, and many black bear, bobcats, coyotes, deer, bighorn sheep, horned owls, and much more.
